Janitorial Manager is a software for managing cleaning operations and this video was played at a large industry trade show in Las Vegas last year. The stakeholders wanted the video to be Las Vegas themed and high energy to get people to stop at the booth but also legible so that they could gather information by watching it. The text on the screen was provided to me and I broke the text sections down into two groups, features and benefits, and displayed each section similarly to the others in it's group. Features with a transition in and out but with no text animation on cleaning stock footage, and benefits on Las Vegas stock footage with the text animated in and then displayed so it would be readable. The animations where done primarily in After Effects and the video was edited in Premier Pro.
The Las Vegas theme originated from the idea of a slot machine that had the Janitorial Manager Logo on it as the jackpot. I designed the parts of the slot machine in Illustrator and constructed and animated it in After Effects. The coins where rendered in Blender and composited into the After Effects video.
The benefits text animation was inspired by the graphics at sporting events. The text had to be formatted in a way that it was legible on the display screen because it had a black strip through the middle of the screen that was not viewable. If the text was large enough it looked fine on the screen but if it was small I had to include a large space between lines that looks funny when watching the video but looked good as it was displayed.
